Due to the continued heat wave and for the safety of racers, volunteers and officials, Revolution Racing, LLC and Natural Grocers Cycling have decided to postpone the final John Brown until Thursday 9/14.

It’s mid August, the long Kansas road season is coming to a close, days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. That can only mean one thing…

The Kansas Cycling Association is proud to announce these currently permitted cyclocross events with more to come.
Sunday September 10 – Featuring Masters, Category, Juniors and Single Speed races plus a FREE kids race. Onsite registration is available but the promoters encourage you to register online. 11500 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, KS
Joules Cross Weekend – Cyclocross
Saturday September 23 – This event always attracts highly competitive fields in all the usual USAC age groups and categories plus Men’s Pro 1/2/3 and Women’s Pro 1/2/3/4. Register for CX only or continue the offroad fun on Sunday with the Joules Cross – XC MTB event (see below) 1014 N 1800 Rd, Lawrence, KS
Sunday September 24 – There’s a category for everyone here: E-Bike, Clydesdale, Novice, Masters, Category…you name it! Located on the trails near Perry Lake. 6020-6234 Kimberly Rd, Ozawkie, KS
Sunday October 29 – Held on the shores of Lake Olathe, this event is sure to please even the most demanding CX aficionado. Category, Masters, Juniors, Single Speed and a Kids race. 625 S Lakeshore Dr, Olathe, KS
Wednesdayz CX Skillz, Drillz and fake Racing with El Burro
Join El Burro and the Boulevard crew for free community style CX practice at Donderdag! on Wednesday nights starting on 08/23/2023. We will open the gates at 6pm and give you 30 minutes to warm up before we start with a quick drill session and then jump into two mock 20 minute race efforts. Donderdag Bike Park, Shawnee, Kansas.

The Kansas Cycling Association is seeking a Media and Communications Coordinator for a two year term beginning Jan 1, 2024.
This critical role on the local association board creates content, manages our website, engages with our membership on social media and moderates our Facebook group among other duties.

Revolution Racing, LLC, in cooperation with the Natural Grocers Cycling Team and GP Financial Strategies is proud to announce the return of the monthly John Brown Time Trial Series for Summer 2023.
The fast and flat five mile course along the Kansas River near historic De Soto, Kansas is a time trial like you’ve never seen. No start lists…just show and go. Multiple categories including: single speed, duo, co-ed duo plus all other USAC recognized categories. Race mutiple categories, multiple bikes each night then join us afterwards for fellowship at KJ’s Pizza in downtown De Soto.
Thursday Evenings – June 29 * July 27 * August 24 – Onsite Registration $20. Online registration $25 (link coming soon). Registration opens at 6pm, first rider off at 6:30pm (or whenever Amy says so).
