Kansas Track Championship 

2014Trackflyer

First rider starts at 11 AM. Refer to schedule below for distance and Category details. Start times will be assigned on a first come first served basis.

REGISTRATION:
At the event site. A newly groomed 333meter Velodrome. Race day registration from 9:30 AM until 30 minutes before race start.

All events $20. Juniors all events $5. Junior entry fees are sponsored by Keen Wealth Advisors and the KCA.

Entry fee includes $3 USAC insurance and $1 KCA surcharge.

DIRECTIONS: The venue located on Farmers Turnpike (County road 438) approx 1.5 miles EAST of the K-10 exit on I-70. Farmers Turnpike (438) is North of I-70.

START TIMES on flyer are approximate based on number of riders and are subject to change.

AWARDS CEREMONY: post event
Medals awarded to the top three Kansas riders (w/annual license) in
each class. Out of state riders eligible for Merchandise awards

Classes:
M&W Cat 1/2 M&W Cat 3 M&W Cat 4 M Cat 5
5 year age groups from 30-34 to infinity
Juniors All Championship age groups

All USAC TRACK rules apply: CPSC approved helmets required. Promoter Reserves the right to adjust time & distances, alter or change course, Cancel and/or combine categories & prize lists

500 meter individual time trial beginning at 11a.m.
1000 meter individual time trial
Scratch race beginning at approximately 1pm.

Sponsors: Anderson Rental, Localcycling.com,Volker Bicycles Track familiarization/safety sessions with opportunity to Upgrade on Thursday evenings. Details published at  www.localcycling.com. Must be track certified for mass start races.

Important: This is a special event with unique challenges. Be prepared for alterations of the schedule. Stay tuned to localcycling.com for changes/details.

HINTS: Big Tires, No brake levers or brakes, fixed gear only. Drop bars for mass start. Check out Volker Bicycles for appropriate equipment help. Must be appropriate category for mass start (see the rule book at www.usacycling.org) Bring water. Port-a-pots provided.
